500L Brewery Equipment is most common and popular in brewpub. On one hand, its beer production can meet brewpub’s demand very well. On the other hand, it would not occupy too much space. As you know, brewpub is usually located in downtown or other bustling places, where has much high rent. That is really important to save space when designing brewery equipment.

In 2021, we installed such 500L brewery equipment for a brewpub in Grenoble France. The owner makes great success. Here, we would like to share their design with you here. Hope it can bring some new ideas for your brewery equipment design.

1.) 1x Grain Mill

2.) 1x combined 3-vessel brewhouse, mash/lauter tun + hot liquor tank + kettle/whirlpool tun. Mash/lauter tun and hot liquor tank are stacked in order to save space.

Such brewhouse supports to brew 1-2 batch per day.

3.) 4x500L fermentation unitanks for beer fermenting and maturing.

4.) 1x500L Glycol water tank, 1x5hp chiller and glycol water pipeline.

If the brew cycle is 2 weeks, this system allows to produce 4000L beer per month based on above configuration. It is very suitable to serve a brewpub, bar or restaurant from budget and beer production.
