Cleaning of the flexible beer hose in your brewery
Generally speaking, the soft beer hose cleaning should be more difficult than stainless steel hard piping, so please better reduce the usage of the flexible hoses during brewing. The cleaning temperature and cleaning time should refer to the technical requirements of the supplier.
Generally the sebific duct can only be cleaned with caustic liquid, as the acid liquid and sterilization liquid that with oxidability would fasten the hose age. That would cause a coarse surface inside of the beer hose, and may with crack as well sometimes. Which makes it more difficult to totally clean the beer hose.
The lifetime of the sebific duct is 3~4 years, the one exceed the period of validity should be weed out.
The CIP cart and relevant piping, pump and accessories should be cleaned frequently as well, saying being cleaned every half years.
