Should we have the flexible auger for the brewhouse?

In the process of beer brewing, reduce the labor cost also is one factor need the brewmaster to consider. So when do we need to add flexible auger into our project?

flexible auger

For small capacity brewhouse, for example 500L beer brewing system.
If we brew the beer with malt:water 1:3, the malt only need about 125kg. It is OK to transfer the malt by labor we think. Then the flexible auger can be without.

But for bigger capacity brewhouse, for example 2000L beer brewing system.
If we brew the beer with malt:water 1:3, the malt need about 500kg, after mixed water will heavier further, then the flexible auger will be necessary.
Usually if we have the flexible, then we will configurate the hopper( storaging the malt) and hydrator (pre-mashing)for the brewhouse. At this time we need to consider the building height and layout etc.

As to the flexible auger, it can seperate with the grain miller. There will have small silo for the auger. But we aslo need to transfer the malt to silo by labor.

Another solution will be better. The flexible auger can directly connect with the grain miller. It will transfer the malt to hopper by flexible auger directly.
