Wort cooling- two stage heat exchanger
When wort is cooled,there is two kinds of type heat exchanger,one is one stage heat exchanger,the other one is the two stage heat exchanger.In the past,Two stage heat exchanger is popular,but if consider the save energy and control aspects,One stage heat exchanger become more and more popular.

Two stage heat exchanger is consisted of front and back stage.Between front and back stage,there is one plate in the middle of them.The front stage is used with cold water,the back stage is used with cold media( glycol).The front stage require the cold water temperature below 20°C，after the front stage cooling,the wort temperature require to cool down to 40-50°C；the back stage cold media temperature is about -3°C--- -4°C，after back stage cooling,the wort temperature should be up to fermenting temperature with 30 minutes at best.
