Yeast adding method

There are usually four method to add the yeast into the tanks
1)Dry adding method.Put suitable amount cool wort into the yeast tank,and measure needed amount yeast(0.6%-0.8%),put it into the yeast tank,mix the yeast and wort together evenly.Finally use the sterile compressed air pressure the yeast into the
fermenter to mix with the wort.
2)Wet adding method.Put part of 10°C-15°C wort into the yeast tank,and then put needed amount yeast,and then keep this temperature in 10-12hours,so that make the yeast recover its activity. When it start budding reproduction, and then use the sterile compressed air, inally use the sterile compressed air pressure the yeast into the fermenter to mix with the wort.
3)Cutting method.This kind of method is used mainly for the not have enough yeast in production site.
4) Continuous adding.In order to make the yeast distribute into the yeast tank evenly,the yeast should be added to the whole wort process.The yeast amount should be added by a wort pump with VFD control.

The above yeast adding method is used according to different situation and choice during brewing process.
