One more 1000L microbrewery equipment was delivered to Japan. It was supplied to Uchu Brewing, a well-known craft brewery located in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture.The brewery cultivates its own hops, giving their beers unique character and freshness.
I.) Project Overview
The Uchu Brewing team first visited our factory in 2017. After a detailed technical discussion and equipment inspection, they decided to work with Tiantai Brewtech for their new brewhouse. The brewery system they selected was a 1000L two-vessel brewery equipment, including:
-1000L mash/lauter tun
-1000L kettle/whirlpool tun
-2000L hot liquor tank
-1000L, 2000L, and 2500L fermentation tanks
-1000L and 2500L brite beer tanks
-Brewery cooling unit
-Standard automatic control cabinet

II.) Installation & Commissioning
In 2018, the brewery system arrived at the Uchu Brewing facility. Our engineers assisted with the installation guidance, and the owner and brewmaster were both present at our factory for final inspection before shipment.
Once the brewery system was put into operation, Uchu Brewing began brewing on the new setup immediately. The team was excited to see the first batches flowing through the brewhouse and into the fermenters.
III.) Growing Together
Since commissioning the 1000L brewery equipment, Uchu Brewing has quickly expanded its production and gained strong recognition in the Japanese craft beer market. Their steady growth led to additional brewery equipment purchases from Tiantai in 2019 and again in 2022, further increasing their capacity.
