Pilsen Beer
The Pilsen Beer is named after Pilsen Brewery in Bohemia Czech, which is one of best bottom fermentation beers in the world. It has light color, fine foam, obvious hops flavor, pure bitterness and comfortable mouthfeel. The color is 6-11EBC; original wort gravity is 11.5-11.9 plato evenly; alcohol concentration is 4.78-5.15%; Bitterness is 28-40BU.
The brewing features:
The Pilsen beer is brewed by soften water whose salt is very little.
The malt adopts light two-rowed malt, cool malting and low dissolving. The drying temperature does not exceed 83℃ and the malt color is between 3.8-4.0EBC.
The hops is Czech aroma hops. The Pilsen beer requires numbers of hops, 500g per 100L wort. Pitch hops in three times.
Traditional Pilsen beer is mashed by three times decoction method. The boiling time is around 2.5 hours.
Cool fermentation with open vessel.
Matured in wooden vessel with high gravity beer for 3 months.
