Stainless Steel Fermentation tanks for Cider

Fermentation tanks, also known as fermentation containers. The capacity is various different, which are made from stainless steel. It normally is cylindrical conical bottom, double wall with insulation. With different brewing process, the fermenters can be used for fermenting beer, kombucha or cider. So you can see the fermentation tanks in any microbrewery.

1. Harvest for fermentation preparation
2. Storage in a crates for processing.
3. Washing with clean water.
4. Sorting can be finished by manual, to eliminate “rotten” apples and thus guarantee the quality of juices.
5. Once sorted, the fruits are crushed to obtain small apple cubes ideal for juice extraction.
6. The pulp obtained will be left for a few hours in a open fermentation tank in order to oxygenate the product and break the astringency of apples.
7. Finally, the pulp is pressed to obtain pure apple juice.
8. The pure apple juice will get further clarification and racking.
9. Fermentation, second fermentation, filtration, bottling will be done.
