What kind of environment is suitable for hops growing?
.Geographical Location: For hops planting, the main area in world is Europe and America. Australia and New Zealand would also plant in partial area. In China, the hops planting is concentrated in North of China and Xinjiang.
.Temperature: Hops is a kind of cold-resistant and heat-labile plant, so it has strict requirements for external temperature. During hops growing, the best temperature is 14-19℃; during hops flower forming, the best temperature is 17-23℃; during hops flower maturing, the best temperature is 15-25℃.
.Rainwater: the rainwater had better be not very much. It is best to adopt irrigating. Enough rainwater can facilitate hops growing. But once hops flower forms and matured, it is easy to cause hops flower dropped, rotted and diseased.
.Sunlight: The hops requires enough sunlight, particularly during hops flower maturation.
.Wind: Breeze is beneficial to hops growing. But strong wind is likely to snap branch, which will affect hops yield and quality. Therefore, the hops had better be planted in some area of wind-proof.
.Soil: Sandiness clay is suitable for hops growing. If the soil can be turned to 2m deep, it is much better. The hops growing would be affected no matter clay is not stick enough or the sandiness is loose.
