What will you pay more attention to during brewery equipment production? Most people will say welding. Indeed, welding plays an important roles throughout the whole production. If so, how to inspect the welding quality of brewery equipment becomes very critical for customers.

Firstly your eyes is the easiest and cheapest tool to check welding. Good welding is beautiful and orderly, like an art. On the contrary, bad welding is unsightly and uneven.

But the most important is strict pressure test during every procedure since bad welding often makes stainless steel material weak even leak. For our brewery equipment, we give 4 times pressure test from cutting material to finishing equipment. First time test is made after fabricating interior shell, 4 bar for 1hour and 2.5bar for 48hours; Second and third time test is made after fabricating glycol jacket, 5 bar for 1hour and 3.5bar for 48hours for glycol jacket, then 4 bar for 1hour and 2.5bar for 48hours for interior shell again; Forth time test is made after fabricating exterior shell, 4 bar for 1hour and 2.5bar for 48hours. And for these 4 times pressure testing, we have professional report for customer’s inspection, including starting time, finishing time, pressure changes and responsible person etc.
