To creat even more delicious beer, there have several ways to realize it. Tiantai proudly offers the most innovative brewing equipment dry hopper for various fermentation tanks, it is an excellent tool for maintaining your hops' crucial flavor and aromas during the dry hopping.
The dry hop dozer volume normally at 2L, 5L, 10L. What volume hop dozer in a brewery need to use mainly depends on the hops amount you plan to add for dry hopping. It can be done one time or by several feeding batches.
The basic design for hop dozer as below:
- CO2 inlet
- CO2 blowoff port
- Sight glass
- Pressure gauge
- Connection in Tri-clamp, DIN, SMS optional
By pressurizing the vessel with CO2 gas, we can exclude oxygen from the hops, which can maintain the hops fresh longer and their uniqure character, creating a beer bursting with aroma and flavor.
Once the oxygen is eliminated from the dry hopper, it drops the hops into the fermenter through a four-inch butterfly valve attached to the hopping port for a fast and efficient dry hopping process.
We normally configure 4’’ butterfly valve for each fermenters, so all the fermentation tanks can sahre to use a hop dozer.
