This Thailand craft brewery project is a perfect example of how Tiantai works hand-in-hand with customers from concept to commissioning.
A Long-Term Partnership Built on Trust
The customer, an existing Tiantai client from Myanmar, planned to invest in a new brewery in Thailand with their partners. The initial brewery equipment inquiry was received in November 2023, when the customer was still evaluating different production capacities and investment budgets.
During the early stage, multiple equipment configurations and budget proposals were discussed to help the customer determine the most suitable brewery scale for the local market.
However, due to factory licensing and project approval requirements, the overall project timeline was extended. Despite the delay, Tiantai maintained continuous communication and technical support throughout the process. The client also puts much trust and support to us.
Finally, in February 2025, the customer confirmed the production capacity and brewery configuration requirements, officially moving the project into the engineering design phase.
Nine Months of Detailed Engineering Collaboration
A brewery project is far more than purchasing equipment. Success depends on careful planning and coordination before manufacturing even begins.
Over the following nine months, Tiantai's engineering team worked closely with the customer on:
- Brewery layout optimization
- Process flow design
- Equipment configuration confirmation
- Utility requirement calculations
Water, electricity and steam planning
- Piping and connection design
- Future expansion considerations
- Installation preparation
Countless discussions, drawings, revisions and technical meetings ensured every detail was optimized before production commenced.
This thorough preparation laid a solid foundation for a smooth installation and startup process.
Customized Brewery Solution
The turnkey solutions were made by Tiantai, the equipment we supplied includes:
- Grain Miller
- 600L Brewhouse MT + LT + KWT + HLT, steam heated
- 10 x1200L Fermentation Tanks
- 4 x600L Fermentation Tanks
- Glycol Chilling System, includes chiller, glycol water tank etc
- CIP Cleaning System
- Steam Boiler and Steam Piping
- Keg Washer and keg filler
- Air Compressor System
- Complete Valves, Fittings and Accessories
The configuration provides excellent flexibility for producing multiple beer styles while maintaining efficient production scheduling.
Manufacturing, Delivery and Installation
After order confirmation, Tiantai immediately initiated detailed manufacturing and quality control procedures.
Following several months of production, testing, packing and international transportation, all equipment successfully arrived at the customer's facility in Thailand.
Just like the clients said:
After a long wait, all the brewing equipment is finally in place.
We expect to begin brewing our own craft beer by the end of this month.
This is a significant milestone for the brewery, and we look forward to sharing our first batch with everyone soon.
The brewery installation has now been completed, and final commissioning is underway.
