Temperature control of beer fermentation tank

Some customers ask us two questions for controlling the beer fermentaiton temperaures:
1.How we should make the temperature even in the bigger beer fermenter.
2.How we control the temperature if we only fermenter half-batch of beer.

1. Even temperature in bigger stainless steel fermenter:
This is suitable for large tank, so the temperatures of beer at upper level and lower level might be different (might the beer at higher level is warmer than beer at lower level). So we need to measure their temperatures and cool it accordingly. The fermenters will be mounted with 2 temperature probes, 2 glycol solenoid valves and the control pane is with 2 temperature controllers.
The ptobe 1 is connected with the temperature controller & display meter 1. This controller will control the solenoid valve 1 to cool the beer at upper level separately.
The ptobe 2 is connected with the temperature controller & display meter 2. This controller will control the solenoid valve  2 to cool the beer at lower level separately.
This is a neat, simple solution.

2. For brewing half-batch of beer:
We use one thermoprobe, and mount it on the cone of the conical fermenter.
And there will be still one temperature display&meter on the control panel.
Glycol inlet No.1 & glycol outlet No.1 are on cone, glycol inlet No.2 & glycol outlet No.2 are on side.
The glycol inlet on cone connects with 1x solenoid valve, the glycol inlet on side connects with manual ball valve and a Tee, so it share the same solenoid valve.
So here we take a 40hl fermenter for example. When we ferment whole 40hl batch, we open the ball valve, so glycol flows into both glycol inlets.
When ferment only 20hl etc., we close the ball valve, so glycol only cool the beer on cone. So this help to save the energy and cooling time.
