Use the rice as the accessories in beer brewing

The rice is the common accessories in beer brewing. Let’s check the reason and operation process together.
1.Advantage: Protein, polyphenol and fattiness content of rice is lower than malt, while the starch content is higher. At the same time, the price is very low.
2.Feature of brewed beer with rice.Rice is very suitable for brewing the light beer with bottom fermentation. Brewed beer with rice has a couple of advantage: very shadow color, fresh flavor. Smooth foam,clear hop aroma. non-biological is very fine.
3.Rice using type . Crashed long-shaped rice is common used in brewery due to its low cost. No matter which rice is adapt, the rice need to conduct the rolling process to remove out the protein layer. By this way, the protein and fattiness content could be decreased to improve the beer quality.
4.Rice using shape. The short rice is common used as extracted thing is higher while the mash viscosity is lower, which is easy for lauter.
5.Using volume. Most brewery will use 20%-30% rice, some of them use 40%-50%, even 70%-80%. In USA, they always use 50% rice as the malt enzyme is vigorous.
6.The pre-process. Crush it---->soak it--->Laminate it and make it melicera.
