What is the ratio Glycol / Water that we need in Microbrewery system?
In the brewing industry, glycol is a necessary part of day-to-day operations. It’s used in chiller systems that run throughout fermentation tanks and conditioning tanks to control temperature during fermentation reactions. In the service side of the industry, glycol is also used for maintaining temperature of draft beer dispensing.
For the glycol, you could get Anhydrous ethylene glycol, its concentration
is usually 99%.and then According to the volume ratio of glycol and water(1:3),making the mixture-----glycol water .Its maximum freezing point could reach to about -18 °C. but in the practical heating exchange,-5°C freezing point glycol water mixture has enough cooling capacity. So ensure safety, the volume ratio of glycol and water(1:3).

In order to achieve the desired temperature, brewers must use the proper ratio of glycol to water in the glycol cooling system.
