When brewing high-concentration beer, the ratio of mash malts to water will increase, and the total volume of the tank will also increase accordingly to accommodate the mash wort and mash brewing water. Does the boiler need to be enlarged?

Generally do not need to increase. Because the area of the brewhouse tanks jacket is basically fixed, and according to our standard configuration, it is larger than the actual need. Because the mash in the tank increases, the heating rate will decrease, which can be improved by increasing the steam pressure.

When brewing high-concentration beer, the amount of feeding is more, and the total volume of the mash tank is increased. Does the boiling tank need to be increased?

When brewing high-concentration beer, more water is used for mash, and the corresponding amount of water used for washing waste will be reduced, and the final wort is basically the same. So the boiling kettle does not need to be enlarged. And the boiling kettle has the largest empty volume among all tanks, followed by the mash tank, the Lauter tank, and the whirlpool tank. It can be designed according to the standard.
