The consequences of tank suction and collapse are more serious, ranging from damage to the Fermentation tank in the lightest, and scrapping of the Fermentation tank in severe cases.

This phenomenon mostly occurs when the conical tank has just finished the beer when the empty tank is cleaned, and there is still a considerable amount of CO2 in the Fermentation tank. Absorption, and then flushing with cold water, the temperature drops sharply, these two factors will cause a vacuum in the tank, and if the air intake speed of the vacuum valve can not keep up, the tank will be sucked and deformed.

Therefore, before cleaning the empty tank, the CO2 in the Fermentation tank must be exhausted (replaceable by compressed air), and then sprayed with clean water for 10~20min, and then it can be cleaned with alkaline detergent.

In addition, there is a danger of collapse of the tank in the following situations: the conical tank is sterilized with steam; the discharge speed of the conical tank is too fast and the air intake is insufficient; after washing with hot water, immediately rinse with cold water; the vacuum valve on the top of the tank fails.
